Waste to Energy (WTE)
Luehr Flat-bag filter with Conditioning Rotor – Recycle Process downstream of a domestic waste incinerator has documented high removal efficiencies for mercury, acid gas components, and metallic hazardous air pollutants (HAPs).
Stage 1 – Spray Sorption
- Gas conditioning – Adjustment of optimum sorption temperature, increase humidity
- Pre-sorption by above stoichiometric additive injection
Stage II – Conditioned Dry Sorption
- Creation of good reaction conditions by particle recirculation up to n x 100 g/Nm3
- Improvement of SO2 separation by moistening recirculated particulate
